The Word of God

This morning as I read my Bible I was overwhelmed with love for His Word. This Bible is His love letter to me. His Word completely changed my life from being utterly useless to a life that brings glory to my King.

Here are a few scriptures about this beautiful gift He has given us… His Word!

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12, KJV)

My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh. (Proverbs 4:20-22, Amplified)

Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. (Psalm 119:105, KJV)

When you go, they [the words of your parents’ God] shall lead you; when you sleep, they shall keep you; and when you waken, they shall talk with you. (Proverbs 6:22, Amplified)

He sent his word, and healed them… (Psalm 107:20, KJV)

…speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. (Matthew 8:8, KJV)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1, KJV)

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us… (John 1:14, KJV)

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17, NKJV)

For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment. (Luke 1:37, Amplified)

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11, KJV)

…It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4, KJV)

Every scripture is God-breathed… (2 Timothy 3:16, Amplified)

This Word He has given us has been breathed out in love for the instruction and transformation of the ones He loves. Oh how I love Your Word.
