Prosper

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (3 John 2, KJV)

God wants you to prosper spirit, soul and body. God wants you to prosper in your relationships and your finances. God wants you to prosper in every good thing you put your hand to. God wants you to prosper.

So what is the key? A prosperous soul. And what is the key to a prosperous soul? I believe it is found in the first word of this verse of scripture, beloved.

God loves you. The Creator of the Universe loves you. Your Creator loves you. Your heavenly Father loves you.

And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love… (1 John 4:16, Amplified)

Do you know, do you understand, do you recognize, are you conscious of the fact that He loves you? Do you believe, adhere to, put faith in, and rely on the fact that He loves you?

Your Father loves you. You have nothing to fear. Your Father loves you and because He loves you He wants you to prosper and be in health. Your Father loves you. Think about that. Meditate on that. Let that very truth penetrate your heart, your mind, your will, and your emotions. Let that truth drive out all that would hinder you from stepping into the prosperity and health He has for you. Let that truth prosper your soul.

We love him, because he first loved us. (1 John 4:19, KJV)

  1. Delia, I so enjoy your blog, & particularly this post. I also wanted to share something that happened recently. Remember when you & Michael visited the B&B, you gave me a wonderful little book by Henry Drummond, “The Greatest Thing in the World”. I am very sorry to say, I stayed so busy in those days, I laid it aside, & didn’t take time to read it, then soon it was on a shelf in the library. It got moved to our new home when we sold the B&B. A few weeks ago, I rediscovered that little book, & have been reading & re-reading it, learning something new everytime. I know God led me back to this book & your precious gift, even though it took me years to benefit. I also have a paperback copy, & sent the nice one you gave me to a “friend”. I hope he is gaining as much insight & love from that gift from you & me, but more so, the gift from God. I just wanted you to know that your precious love & thoughtfulness just keeps on giving & sharing! My selfish self wanted to keep it because YOU gave it to me, but the loving self & God said to share it, so I did. Love, Betty

  2. Betty, Henry Drummond’s “The Greatest Thing in the World” is my second favorite book ever written. The Bible is my first favorite. So glad you are blessed by it. It is a life changing message, meant to change our lives and the lives of those around us. God bless! ~ Delia 🙂
